Honourable John H. W. Pinder II was elected by his constituents in September 2021 to represent Central and South Abaco as a Member of Parliament. Hon. John Pinder II was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation (MOTIA) under Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Chester Cooper. He is motivated to speak for Abaco and be a voice for all Abaconians. Hon. Pinder is energized to work on improving and bringing in new avenues to Tourism, Boating, Investments, and Aviation for The Bahamas.

John Pinder is a direct descendant of the first settlers of Hope Town and Cherokee Sound in Abaco. Not only is his heritage deeply nestled into these islands, but his heart and passion for the Great Abaco’s. He has been an active member in the community since a young age. He is a member of The Hope Town Volunteer Fire Rescue, since a cadet at twelve years old. He was elected Deputy Chief Councillor of the Hope Town District 2017-2020 and continues to serve his fellow Abaconians and work on bringing Abaco back from the ashes. He is ready to RECOVER * REBUILD * REVOLUTIONIZE Central and South Abaco!
